And Wednesday

This morning was gray but soon gave way to sunshine. It felt muggy out and I found myself sweating during my walk just wearing a t shirt. Today I steered Sophie to the community garden where I picked some red raspberries (I brought a cup in my back pack for the the occasion). I also ran into my friend Debbie on our walk. She and her dog Gizmo were taking advantage of the summer temperatures.

Today is a light day at work as the district hasn’t fully scheduled me on Wednesdays. Today I will finish an evaluation, do some continuing education work, and make a chicken Panang curry for dinner. I found some fresh ginger at LeClerc and I am so excited for a different flavor. My bland diet has run its course. I need to taste something other than bananas and chicken broth.

Miracle of miracles, my package came from Matthew when I returned from my walk. Mail is so weird here. Sometimes I have to pay customs tax for a package and other times not. Sometimes I have to sign for it, and with other items, they can be left at the front door. There is no clear rhyme or reason to the difference. From Matthew’s end he is doing everything the same. It drives me mental not really knowing when I can anticipate a delivery.

The wash is hanging on the line and Sophie and I plan to have lunch in the garden.
